ST. LOUIS, Mo. (AP) - St. Charles County, Missouri, police say rock `n' roll visionary Chuck Berry has died at age 90, according to the Associated Press and KSDK
KSDK reports police responded to a medical emergency on Buckner Road in St. Charles County around 12:40 p.m. Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and administered lifesaving techniques.
The 90-year-old man, later identified as Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry, could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1:26 p.m.
Berry was famous for hits like "Johnny B. Goode" and "Never Can Tell." He's credited as a pioneer of rock 'n' roll, paving the way for bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stone
